DESCRIPTION:
OCB is basically, an abbreviation of Organizational Citizenship Behavior responsibilities that employees have as “citizens” of an organization. Sportsmanship is a form of citizenship behavior that has received much less attention in the literature. Another dimension that several researchers have identified as a form of Citizenship behavior is called individual initiative.
Anyhow, an interview was conducted from Branch Manager of Bank of Punjab to know about the organizational Citizenship Behavior of employees within their organization during working hours.

STRUCTURED INTERVIEW
We are the students of b.com (hons) 6th semester HCC PU Lahore. We are projected to conduct a structured interview from manager on the topic of organizational citizenship behavior(OCB). We request you to kindly give us interview about these following questions by giving your some precious time from your busy life so that we can accomplish our project.

1. What type of behaviors is displayed by the employees, when the employees more broadly define their job responsibilities?
Employees show punctuality, they utilize inputs effectively to achieve high level of output. They are not involved in time wasting activities.
2. If the employees are more satisfied with their jobs, the more broadly they will define their job responsibilities, why?
Employees show keen interest when they are more satisfied with their jobs. They believe in unity, teamwork and motivated from their leaders.
3. Organizational performance can be significantly related and affected by what behaviors?
Leaders give empowerment to employees. They listen to the needs and problems of their subordinates as a result of which employees work honestly and for the interest of the organization.
4. Do you feel that your employees are being paid a fair amount for their work?
If some employees contribute more than other employees, they are rewarded with appreciation, recognition, and bonus and in some time promotion.
5. Do your employees should be promoted on merit?
Sometimes employees should be promoted on merit to avoid jealousy and conflicts among other employees but if they participate in OCB merit should not be considered.
6. Either your organization gives recognition or reward to employees as they deserve?
If employees show attention towards the goal of the organization and do not involve themselves in time wasting activities and show extra participation in work, they are honestly awarded.
7. What is your opinion about that your employees should support co workers?
Our employees believe that whole is greater than the parts therefore they act as a team or group and show unity in all type of tasks.
8. Either there are some circumstances in which your employees feel that their job is meaningless or not?
When the leader does not involve employees in decision making and do not listen to their needs and personal problems, they feel that their job is meaningless.
9. How would you like to explain about the employees training? Either your employees are being trained or not?
Our organization plan to provide training programs twice in a year in which employees learn about better communication skills, teamwork, mutual participation and co operation.
10. How the goals of your organization are promoted by the employees?
Employees effectively utilize inputs, work not for their own interest, try to satisfy organizations customers and achieve higher productivity with minimum cost.
11. Is there any absolute way to measure the behavior and performance target of employees?
By looking at employee’s absenteeism, their punctuality, their co operation and convincing power with the customers, fair behavior with the co workers and manager, we can measure the performance target.
12. What are the other activities which distract the employee’s performance against target measure?
Activities like excess use of mobile phones, discussion on politics, discussions of their personal matters, unfair behavior of manager and criticism distract the employee’s performance.
13. Is it possible the result of individual extrapolate to collective people show same result?
He believes that whole is greater than the parts so we should promote teamwork, appreciate unity and motivate employees to co operate with their staff.
14. Is individual extra contribution increase the motivation of staff or otherwise creates ambiguity about the trust on them?
Some persons take things positively and motivated through the individual extra contribution so they try to work more, but other persons feel jealousy and create conflict with the individual doing extra contribution.
